Event / Activity Description:
Hailed as the perfect musical comedy, this award-winning classic gambles with luck and love under the bright lights of Broadway. New York’s most infamous crap game organizer, Nathan Detroit, hoping for a big pay day, challenges notorious gambler Sky Masterson to a bet he’s sure he’ll win: take mission girl Sarah Brown to dinner in Havana, Cuba. Sky accepts and pursues the known prude, seemingly hopelessly, while Nathan deals with his own situation - his 14-year fiancée, Adelaide, who’s tired of waiting for a wedding. When bets and love seem at odds, the characters are called to question their priorities to make things right.
Audition Specifics – Auditions are Scheduled to last for 3 Hours:
-Acting portion: Will be from cold readings.
-Vocal portion: We will teach auditioners a portion of a song from the show.
-Dance portion: Wear loose clothing to be able to move inand wear comfortable shoes.
-Plan on arriving before 6:00 p.m. to fill out paperwork.
-Please plan to stay for the entire Audition time: 6:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m.

Nicely-Nicely Johnson
Just like his name suggests, he is the nicest and cheeriest of the gambling crooks. High-spirited and a bit naïve, but sincere and genuine. Nathan's loyal friend and lackey.

Arvide Abernathy
The bass drum and cymbal player in the Mission band, he is Sarah's loving grandfather. Wise and sweet, he wants nothing but the best for her.
Gender: Male, Age: 50 to 65
Vocal range: D4 to F5 Solo

Angie The Ox
A crook and gambler. He is a tough guy with dollar signs as his bottom line.
Gender: Male, Age: 18 to 55
Vocal Range: F3 to G5

Lt. Brannigan
A New York police officer who is on to Nathan's illegal craps games and is dead-set on catching him. A tough, no-nonsense character.
No singing, no dancing.
